Trunk line fusion splicer

27 November 2025 Interconnection

The JILONG 280T AllRounder Middle Trunk Line fusion splicer is a rugged, highperformance fibre optic fusion tool engineered for core networks, FTTx, and access infrastructure. Combining precision, efficiency, and durability, it’s ideal for field technicians working in challenging environments.

Key features of the 280T fusion splicer include:

• 4-motor core alignment to ensure ultra-precise fibre alignment and minimal splice loss, with the fibre core visible for easy positioning.

• Fast splicing and heating with 8 to 15 seconds for an average splice, and a complete heat cycle in 18 seconds.

• Low typical losses of 0,02 dB for single-mode and 0,01 dB for multimode fibre.

• A 4,3-inch touchscreen with 320x dual-axis magnification for enhanced visibility of core alignment.

The unit is built to endure vibration, dust, moisture, and extreme temperatures from -20 to 50°C. It comes complete with a 6800 mAh battery pack to power the unit for approximately 300 splice-and-heat cycles. With the unit’s data logging feature and long electrode lifespan, it delivers both convenience and a great ROI.
