The Hakko FR-850 Micro Hot Air Rework Station is a precision-engineered tool designed for intricate surface-mount device (SMD) rework and PCB repair. Its compact footprint and ergonomic design make it especially suited to work under a microscope, delivering controlled hot air for delicate components on high-thermal-mass PCBs.
The FR-850 offers a broad temperature range from 50°C to 600°C with adjustable airflow from 1,5 to 5 L/min, allowing technicians to adjust heat and flow for a wide variety of SMD tasks. Its micro hot air handpiece features a built-in on/off control that operators can use without losing sight of their work, enhancing accuracy and efficiency during precision rework.
One of its strengths is compatibility with six different NA01 series nozzles, available in straight and bent shapes for flexible airflow direction. The intuitive four-button interface makes setting temperature and airflow straightforward, while auto-cooling and auto-shutoff functions improve safety and help extend the station’s life.
The FR-850 supports infrared communication and PC software integration for calibration and data logging.
