Supporting the latest Intel Core Series 2 socket-type processors (formerly Bartlett Lake) and designed for maximum connectivity and expansion, the EPIC-BTS9 from AAEON, is tailor-made to bring unprecedented performance to smart manufacturing and industrial robotics.
In just a 4” form factor, the EPIC-BTS9 can host up to 65 W CPUs from across the new Intel Core processors (Series 2) platform, while also offering pin-to-pin compatibility with 12th, 13th, and 14th Gen Intel Core processors. As a result, the EPIC-BTS9 can leverage up to 24 cores and 32 threads of computing power to handle extraordinary workloads with minimal latency.
The EPIC-BTS9 offers versatile expansion options across the board, with a PCIe Gen 4 [x8] slot for AI accelerators, graphic capture cards, or additional storage making everything from AI-guided factory automation to AOI systems possible. Multiple M.2 slots host storage and wireless communication modules, complimenting the board’s wired networking for advanced edge gateway applications.
With a total of four LAN ports, three running at 2,5 GbE speed with hardware timestamping and one at GbE, the EPIC-BTS9 provides high-performance networking capabilities for industrial AI applications such as predictive maintenance. The board’s two RS-232/422/485 COM headers, GPIO 8-bit, and SMBus facilitate communication with and control of both modern and legacy industrial subsystems. The board is perfect for integration with existing display panel setups, offering VGA, eDP 1.4, and HDMI 2.0.
