The flagship of the Tenma sound level meter line – the 72-947 - provides features making it ideal for sound system testing, speaker system measurement and environmental noise level monitoring.
The instrument features a USB interface with data-logging software, as well as internal data logging. Selectable functions include fast/slow response time and MIN or MAX hold and data hold. Data is displayed on a large 1999 count backlit LCD display, with analog bar graph display and numerous on-screen icons.
AC/DC outputs are provided for a level recorder, and self-calibration is possible with an internal oscillator. Three measurement ranges are provided – 30 to 80 dB, 50 to 100 DB and 80 to 130 dB – with resolution of 0,1 dB.
Other functions and accessories include selectable auto-power-off, a threaded insert which accepts a standard tripod mount, a removable windscreen, and AC adaptor (included) or battery operation.
