Winstar released a new standard model of the 1,1” 96z64 OLED TAB display which features an integrated SSD1305 driver controller .
The WEX009664B’s outline dimensions are 33,5 x 23,62 mm (without frame on module), it operates from a 3 V supply over the -40°C to +80°C temperature range and features an 8800, 8080, SPI or I²C interface.
OLED technology, although still more expensive than standard STN graphic modules, is becoming an attractive offer for its wide view angle, wide temperature operating range and very low current draw. These characteristics make this display particularly well suited for handheld and battery-powered applications.
Winstar also offers a range of character OLED displays that are mechanically the same as the standard 16x2, 16x4, 20x4 LCDs, and having the performance advantages as described above.
