Enclosures made of bio-plastic

After years of development, OKW now offers a range of enclosures, the SOFT-CASE series, which is entirely manufactured from the bioplastic, BIOGRADE. These bio-enclosures are suitable for diagnosis, therapy, measuring and control engineering, peripheral and interface equipment, or household use. They are aimed at those who wish to make a contribution to environmental protection and help developers and manufacturers meet environmental regulations.

BIOGRADE is derived from renewable raw materials - either cotton or wood. Unlike conventional raw materials, this bioplastic is largely CO₂-neutral, regardless of how it is subsequently recycled. BIOGRADE has a very good surface finish, with properties similar to ABS, and can be processed using standard injection moulding. This means it can replace the fossil fuel-derived plastics used in many applications.

Available in off-white (similar to RAL 9002), the SOFT-CASE series is a wide format pocket-box. Display elements can be accommodated in a small, user-friendly space, while upright use is also possible if necessary.
