The Si5211x Tiny Clock PCI Express (PCIe) clock generators and Si53102 Tiny Clock PCIe buffer are the latest additions to Silicon Labs’ PCIe product portfolio. The one- and two-output devices meet PCIe Gen 1/2/3 specifications with substantial jitter performance margin, come in a compact footprint and feature very low power consumption. The PCIe interconnect has become widely adopted in the PC/server, communications, consumer and embedded end markets. This new off-the-shelf PCIe family is optimised to target high-volume consumer and embedded applications where board space, design simplicity and BOM cost are critical decision factors.
