International Rectifier announced the introduction of a family of 300 V devices featuring its latest power MOSFET silicon for a wide range of high-efficiency industrial applications such as 110 – 120 V a.c. line conditioners and 110 – 120 V a.c. power supplies, and DC to AC inverters including solar inverters and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS).
The new portfolio of power MOSFETs offers ultra-low on-state resistance (Rds(on)) to improve system efficiency and may allow designers to reduce part count where multiple MOSFETs are used in parallel.
The IRFB4137PBF and IRFP4137PBF feature Rds(on) of 69 mΩ (at 10 Vgs) and come in TO-220 and TO-247 packages respectively, while the IRFP4868PBF offers 32 m Rds(on) in a TO-247 package. The devices are qualified to industrial grade and moisture sensitivity level 1 (MSL1), are offered lead free and are RoHS compliant.
