The LPHT terminal and LPHS socket series from Samtec comprise a high-power, low-profile power and signal combo connector system for vertical and perpendicular board-to-board applications. The power blades are parallel to the PC board for a low 7,50 mm profile height which serves to improve system airflow.

EXTreme LPHPower connectors provide up to 50 A per linear centimetre of space, have two isolated power blades in each housing bay, and can be mated in perpendicular or coplanar orientations. They can be mated in a traditional two piece connector system, or as a one piece receptacle-to-card edge system.

The connectors feature four or eight power blades capable of carrying up to 30 A each, and 24 or 32 signal pins on 1,27 mm spacing. They are designed for standard 1,60 mm printed circuit boards and are rated for current interruption for hot plug applications.
