STMicroelectronics’ latest micro-sized Blue Module series offers a fast, flexible and affordable Bluetooth solution based on reliable, advanced Bluetooth technology. Striking a balance between performance and costs, the modules support Bluetooth specification V2.1 + EDR and V3.0.
A Bluetooth stack is embedded in the modules, along with supported profiles and a user-friendly application that ensures simple and effective control via AT commands. The AT2 FW version enables communication with Android, smartphones and most Bluetooth enabled devices that support the serial port profile. Modules embedding this firmware support data communication with Apple iOS Bluetooth enabled devices (external Apple authentication coprocessor and MFI certification are required).
The modules are fully qualified, listed on the SIG website according to EPL (end product listing) rules and are RoHS compliant.
