The Inspex HD 1080p is Ash Technologies’ most advanced Inspex inspection system to date. Building on the success of the Inspex HD 720p, it boasts two core new features. The first, as suggested by the system’s name, is higher camera resolution at 1080p (compared to 720p) and the second is the ability to capture images to a USB key.
The full HD camera produces superb image quality at 50/60 Hz, meaning there is no image delay/lag. The camera’s feature set includes WDR for exposure adjustment, noise reduction to reduce noisy images, and white balance to produce better whites. These come over and above previous innovations such as integrated XY dimensioning grids and cursors.
Image capture to the USB key can be performed in seconds by simply inserting the key into the USB port on the Inspex and pressing the capture button. The same USB port facilitates firmware updates. The Inspex HD 1080p allows easy access to all functions through its on-screen display, and it comes in VESA- and table-mount formats.
