Mean Well has boosted the output of its HLG family to 600 Watts to accommodate larger fixtures in the LED luminaire market. The power supplies accept 90 - 305 V a.c. full range inputs and provides nine models with nominal DC output voltages between 12 V and 54 V.
With its aluminium case and fully potted silicone construction, the HLG-600H series features IP65/67 protection, 5 G anti-vibration capability, and industrial-level immunity against instantaneous surges up to 4 kV, allowing them to work in harsh indoor or outdoor environments that are highly dusty and/or moist.
Featuring internal power factor correction and operating efficiency up to 96%, the units can be operated between -40°C and +70°C using air convection cooling. Other functions consist of short circuit protection, over-current protection, over-voltage protection, over-temperature protection, built-in 5 V/ 0,5 A standby power, and remote control.
Two models are available: the A-type is equipped with internal potentiometers enabling the output current to be adjusted 50 - 100% and the output voltage 85 – 105%; the B-type is equipped with 3-in-1 dimming (0 – 10 V d.c., PWM signal, resistance).
The HLG-600H series is certified to UL/CUL/ENEC/CB/CE lighting regulations, including UL8750 and ENEC EN61347-2-13. Suitable applications comprise LED street lighting, LED high bay lighting, parking lot lighting, LED searchlights, LED fishing lamps and so forth.
