Multi-fibre optical assemblies

Molex has introduced hermetically sealed, multi-fibre circular MT optical assemblies, ideal for when system reliability is required in extreme environments, including severe weather conditions, high altitudes and high atmospheric pressures. These conditions can cause ordinary surveillance and sensor equipment to fail, which can create critical communications problems.

The assemblies contain 12 to 24 fibres in one small-footprint connector, with stainless steel connector housings providing high durability and corrosion resistance. Conduit fibre protection is available when superior crush resistance and extended sealing capabilities are required. Single- and multi-mode fibre options are available.
