DDM Novastar announced the launch of a brand new, entry level pick-and-place machine. The L-SF40 is an affordable, turnkey automatic system that can be put in production right out of the box. The system is managed by a full desktop Windows computer with flat screen monitor.
The machine can handle boards up to 34,3 x 55,9 cm in size, and can place components as small as 0201 SOICs and PLCCs down to 20 mil pitch, at rates up to 1800 components per hour (cph). The system includes DDM Novastar’s unique strip tape and loose component tray feeders, as well as a four-position nozzle changer for most SMT component sizes. Convenient SuperStrip and tube feeders are also available as options.
