In today’s production technology of electronic products, environmental concerns over issues such as the ozone problem, the greenhouse effect and waste management call for VOC-free and low-VOC flux technology. Changing the process into VOC-free flux technology is not a simple task while low-VOC flux can be considered as a drop-in replacement for most alcohol based fluxes without changing the process parameters.
Cobar’s latest low-VOC flux technology delivers excellent soldering performance and provides an ideal solution for increasingly stringent demands related to lead-free soldering processes, such as low flux spreading for selective soldering and higher polarity.
95-DRX-M+ is a low-VOC flux that offers superior wetting performance even without the use of nitrogen. 95-RXZ-M is a low-VOC flux designed to optimise soldering performance in anti-solder balling. 396-BS features a water content of 60% to reduce emission, and provides extremely clear residues.
Also on display will be Cobar OT2M rosin-based halogen and halide-free solder paste, and the lead-free solder SN100C product range.
