Anderson Power Products introduced SBS Mini, the smallest ever DC power connector in its SB product group. SBS Mini securely holds two crimp and poke contacts with sacrificial tips to enable hot swap capabilities on DC circuits. The low-resistance contacts accept #20 to #10 AWG (0,75 to 4,0 mm²) wires allowing up to 52 A of UL rated performance per position.
Rugged one-piece housings fully insulate each contact position for 600 V capability. SBS Mini adds additional insulation to the mating interface to protect against accidental exposure to live circuits. Easy to grip housings inherit colour-coded mechanical keys from the SB connector; each key is assigned a unique colour for quick, foolproof circuit identification. This is of particular importance when distinguishing series from parallel connections, or circuits operating at incompatible voltages.
Their compact size, power handling capabilities and safety features make these connectors ideal for a broad range of applications including UAVs, emergency equipment, portable power storage and generation, and small-to-mid kVA capacity UPS systems.
