Radiall has extended its product range with a new miniature connector range, the QuickFusio series. To meet the challenges aerospace customers face and respond to market requirements, it is available in two versions, for either cabin or EWIS applications.
The standard connector offers a balance between cost and performance needed in pressurised environments, especially in cabin applications; while QuickFusio+ is qualified in accordance to the EWIS standard to meet even more stringent requirements, and is suitable for both pressurised and non-pressurised environments.
The entire QuickFusio series is optimised to meet customer expectations in term of competitive price positioning. Due to the unique mating mechanism which enables quick mating, and the use of standard SAE-AS-38999 contacts in the inserts, the overall cost is reduced.
The innovative shape of the connectors combines the geometry of a square and a circle. This unique design makes the solution compatible with any type of wiring combination and is easy to install due to the Radiall Touch one-finger mating technology. It also ensures compatibility with standard SAE-AS-38999 size 11 accessories.
Extremely compact and lightweight, QuickFusio is only 20 grams per pair when equipped with size 22 contacts. Combining high performance with competitive costs and simple wiring, this tool-less connector is ideal for major commercial aerospace and defence OEMs.
