The AK4091 series of surface mounted terminal blocks features a low profile of just 4,4 mm and a pitch of 4,0 mm. The connectors are available with 1 to 4 poles accepting stranded or solid wire via push-in. They are rated to 9 A and 600 V for the single-pole model (250 V for multiple poles), and accommodate wire sizes between 0,2 and 0,75 mm².
The connector has a raised edge for separating the release button and the printable area, which is also the place where the connector can be picked up by a pick-and-place nozzle. The release button is flexible and has a recess for slot screwdrivers.
