Winstar has launched a series of embedded system products to complement its range of TFT LCD modules with motherboard solutions. Its ARM based embedded series is suitable for various application fields such as POS, medical instrumentation, security control, industrial automation and automotive control electronics. The 1st version Embedded series use the NXP processor iMx6 Series (Dual core Lite, Quad Core option) to be the control Kernel of the Motherboard.
The first product in the lineup makes use of a 1,0 GHz Cortex-A9 dual core processor from NXP Semiconductors. It features onboard DDR3 memory up to 2 GB and 8 GB of eMMC NAND Flash. The board supports RGB and LVDS interfaces for five types of TFT module from 5” to 12,1”. Operating systems supported are Android 4.2 and Linux.
