AVX supercapacitors or double layer capacitors provide a unique combination of characteristics for a compromise between electronic and dielectric capacitors.
Available through TTI, the SCC series cylindrical and SCM series module capacitors enable high pulse power and capacitance density.
The SCC series is available with capacitance values ranging from 1 F to 3000 F at 2,7 V. The devices feature high pulse power capability, low ESR and low leakage current. Among their suitable applications are energy harvesting systems, uninterruptible power supplies, remote metering, scanners, wireless alarms and camera flash systems.
The SCM series modules feature capacitance values ranging from 1 F to 750 F and voltage of 5,0 V and 5,4 V. They also offer high pulse power capability, low ESR and low leakage current with active or passive balancing options. Suitable applications include wireless alarms, GSM/GPRS pulse applications, remote metering, scanners and camera flash systems.
