Aries Electronics has introduced a new high temperature lead-free correct-a-chip adapter that enables users to upgrade from DIP devices to SOJ or SOIC devices with no PCB rework or redesign.
The Series 350000-HT adapters are offered on 7,62, 10,16 and 15,24 mm centres and with 14, 16, 18, 20, or 24 pins. They can withstand operating temperature up to 210°C. These adapters can be finished as individual units or in panellised form for automated pick-and-place mounting of devices.
The PCB of these adapters is 1,6 mm thick Polyimid, rated at 260°C, with copper traces on both sides. The pins are 360 half-hard brass alloy with tin-nickel plating.
