Sometimes bigger is better, for example PCB terminal blocks for conductor cross sections of 4, 6 or even 16 mm2 with a rated current of 57 A. Despite having such an impressive rating, local distributor, HellermannTyton, says the WAGO 745 series of terminal blocks has a compact design. The 16 mm2 version, for example, has a width of only 10 mm. The 745 series is available with pin spacings ranging from 5 to 20 mm.
Practical features add to the convenience of the product. Jumpers can be used to loop through potentials or to connect current circuits in parallel. Two solder pins for the 4 mm2 and for the 6 mm2 version and four solder pins for the 16 mm2 version ensure the terminal strips fit securely and guarantee safe and efficient current distribution. The separate test slots can be accessed even with connected conductors. Fixing flanges for horizontal and vertical fixing are available.
In addition to standard terminal strips there are versions appropriate for Eex-i applications. Clear assembly is possible due to different colours and marker receptacles for the WMB/Mini WSB marker carriers.
