The new PT 1.5 screw terminal is part of the Combicon compact range, the latest addition to the PCB connection technology products from Phoenix Contact.
The range includes solderable and pluggable products and offers generous clamp space whilst maintaining a compact size. Specially developed for use in building communications and telecommunications, the Combicon compact features an extra-high degree of functionality.
The PT 1.5 terminals offer screw technology connection terminals in 5,0 mm pitch. By means of a highly developed and highly elastic wire protection clamp system, the terminals provide reliable and practical wire clamping up to 2,5 mm2.
Besides hard solderable PCB terminals, the range includes codeable plug connectors which plug into reflow solder-capable PST 1.3 sockets. Due to their versatility, the screw terminals are particularly suitable for large-scale use when space is at a premium.
