Resulting from customer demand for a half size DIN 41612 connector with more than the standard 48 contacts, Erni has developed and put into production a half size E160 connector fitted with 80 contacts.
Straight female and right angle male connectors are available in Class 2 (400 matings). Additional versions can be manufactured to suit customers' requirements. This connector is particularly suitable for applications such as interconnection to 2U high density card frames.
