Amphenol's filtered interconnect technology has been applied to connector systems such as Arinc 404 and 600 (Mil-C-81659), Mil-C-83527, Mil-C-24308 DSubs, Mil-C-5015, Mil-C-26482, Mil-C-38999 and terminal blocks to name a few. Amphenol uses various filter technologies such as bead, ceramic wafer, discrete component and ferrite.
Bead technology allows for individual contact filtering (programmable), while ceramic wafer offers a high level of accuracy and any combination of Pi, inductive-capacitive or capacitive filtering. Discrete component and ferrite filtering provide low-cost alternatives. Circuit types include Pi; cascading Pi; C; CLR; LRC; T; MOV; diode, EMP and ESA.
