Flat conductor ribbon cable has maximum flexibility

The Ansley 175 series ribbon cable from Tyco Electronics is well-suited for applications requiring high flexibility, low weight and long life. Using flat copper conductors within a polyester insulation, the cable offers superior flexibility when compared to conventional ribbon cables.
Available in a choice of sizes from 10 to 64 way, the cable forms an ideal partner to the Ansley 609 series connectors. A self-adhesive contact adapter allows positive termination to the flat cable conductors and also provides for the additional cable height necessary.
A special feature of the Ansley 175 series is thermal ductility. Cable sets may be shaped by heat treatment and will then maintain that shape in operation. Examples include self-rolling interconnection cables and preformed folded cables.
The ability to pre-form cables increases suitability for varied application areas involving moving parts in a variety of industries. The Ansley 175 series is rated at 90 V, 0,5 A with a temperature rating of 80°C.
