The Spectra-Strip and Times Fibre Cable (TFC) are both respected Amphenol brand names. Each brand address a specific market sector. Spectra-Strip provides solutions for high bandwidth, while TFC addresses the RF market.
Spectra-Strip product includes standard ribbon cable in a variety of pitches: twisted pair ribbon cable, coaxial ribbon cable and twisted pair ribbon cable wrapped within a round PVC jacket. All these cables are available in shielded or unshielded versions. Spectra-Strip also produces a range of multimode and single-mode multicore fibre-optic cable for harsh environments.
TFC produces an extensive range of RF cables in various locations around the world. Virtually all types of high frequency RF cables are made, which comply with the Mil-C-17 standard. RF corrugated cable is available from 3/8" to 1-5/8" diameter in super-flex and annular. Accessories to address the mobile telecommunication market are also produced.
