Mass storage module for the 2900 programmer

The 2900 programming system from Data I/O, represented locally by Spescom MeasureGraph, can now be upgraded with the Mass storage module upgrade kit.

The 2900 programmer supports over 10 000 devices, with more being added on an ongoing basis. Applications include engineering labs, design workstations and low volume manufacturing. The MSM has been available for 3900 programmers for many years, and now 2900 programmers can also upgrade to the MSM. The MSM upgrade kit provides an additional 80 MB of storage space for loading the contents of system software and algorithms for each new update.

Spescom MeasureGraph gives three key benefits to the upgrading a 2900 with the mass storage module: no more floppy diskettes; rapid installation of updates from CD ROM; more efficient operations.
