Using the new low profile (10,1 mm) F series connectors from Erni, designers of backplanes and bus systems, are now able to use both series F and C connectors on the same DIN 41494 system/s.
The advantages of series F connectors are: high current (5,5 A) and high voltage (1550 Veff.) plus 3TE (15,24 mm) compact stacking density that can be fully utilised.
Make before break 1,5 mm male connectors may be fitted. They are available fitted with either solder pin or Ernipress terminations. Standard version is Class 2 - 400 mating cycles.
