Bus system power supply connectors

28 January 2004 Interconnection Products & Solutions

Bus systems in computer and automation technology provide standard interfaces, which allow interconnection of selected combinations of components and sub systems.

Interconnection of most components on bus card systems use press-in technology to DIN IEC 352. The Ernipress technique now includes a series of press-in power supply connectors. These dual row connectors have a total of 10 type EE (Elastichen Einpresszone) terminals to cater for variations in PCB manufacture.

The power supply lead may be connected using either cable lug terminations for M4 screws or Faston terminations which fit 6,3 x 0,8 mm or 2,8 x 0,8 mm cross section terminals to DIN 46244.
