Power entry module with line filter

11 February 2004 Interconnection

The increasing requirements to power supplies for electronic systems require higher power density, higher responsibility and better performance. The C20F from Schurter is an IEC 320/C20 power entry module with line filter, which is designed specifically for the mentioned requirements. The product is suitable for power supplies with power ratings up to 3500 W.

The C20F is especially designed for rated currents up to 20 A and is available as standard or as medical version for screw-on or snap-in mounting. Optionally, the product is offered with X1 capacitors for applications with increased surge withstand. The C20F is compact and from EMC-technical as well as from mounting point of view to be preferred compared to a block filter. It provides optimal protection for your application at the same time. The C20F is approved according to ENEC 16 A/250 V resp. 20 A/125, 250 V UL, CSA and designed for applications according to IEC/EN 60950.

The products are suitable for the usage in high-performance power supplies or distribution units, especially in IT-equipment, medical and measuring equipment as well as in other industrial applications.
