Suited to any industrial application requiring a low cost, low profile AC/DC power supply with between one and four outputs, ACL series switchers from XP come in a choice of 36 models with power ratings of 150 W, 175 W, 200 W or 300 W. All have universal AC inputs meeting EN61000-3-2, 3 and output voltages from 3,3 to 48 V d.c., adjustable by ±5%.
To increase flexibility, the quad output versions come with the fourth output floating so that it can be referenced either positive or negative. There is also a 12 V, 160 mA output for powering external cooling fans, if these are needed. Load regulation is ±1% and the maximum ripple and noise is 1% peak-to-peak.
With a height of 38,1 mm, the 150 W, 175 W and 200 W ACL units will fit into a 1U rack slot. The power supplies are available in three formats: U-Channel, standard cover and fan cover. All units can provide DC-OK, with the 200 W and 300 W versions adding thermal shutdown and remote on/off as standard.
Over-voltage protection comes in at 130% of nominal output and is reset by restarting the power supply. Over-current protection operates at 110-135% of nominal output and an auto-recovery circuit eliminates the need to reset the power supply after such faults. Leakage current is 3,5 mA maximum at 230 V a.c., 50 Hz.
