Maxim has introduced fully integrated temperature switches in 6-pin SOT package that provide ±1,5°C (max) accuracy over the full factory-programmed range. The MAX6514/MAX6515 assert a logic signal when a preset temperature value is reached. Their temperature trip thresholds are factory set and available from -45 to +15°C and +35 to +115°C in 10°C increments. Hysteresis is pin selectable at 2°C or 10°C. No external components are required. The MAX6514 provides push-pull active-high outputs while the MAX6515 provides an open-drain active-low output. The devices operate over a -40 to +125°C temperature range with a power-supply voltage range of 2,7 to 5,5 V.
