General purpose rectangular connectors manufactured under licence

Tyco Electronics, in terms of a licence agreement with Radiall S.A., is qualified as a second source supplier and is authorised to manufacture, market and sell its EPXA & B Series connectors globally. The EPXA & B Series is a general-purpose interconnection system that is used extensively in military and commercial aircraft applications. This is a new concept of rectangular modular connectors that gives more flexibility with improved performance than standard circular Mil-spec connectors.

Tyco is also authorised to modify, expand, and extend the product design as needed to fulfil the requirements of new applications and markets. The two companies are working jointly to deliver intermateable, interchangeable products by sharing designs on existing products as well as on product range extensions.
