New blown fibre solution

Structured cabling manufacturer, Molex Premise Networks, has launched its new Laserstream blown fibre system. This fibre solution allows IT managers complete flexibility for both the implementation and upgrading of the fibre infrastructure.
The company says that Laserstream is perfectly suited for those projects implemented in phases or where the business requirements for the cabling infrastructure are not determined at the outset. This level of versatility can also deliver cost benefits by removing the need to install 'dark' fibre runs as is typical with traditional fibre cabling. The Laserstream system can be installed with Molex Premise Networks standard fibre connectivity patch panel and cable management products and is supported by its 'Global 25 Year System Performance, Product and Application Assurance Warranty'.
The launch of Laserstream is the result of a global agreement between Molex Premise Networks and Pirelli who manufacture the product under license from British Telecommunications. Under the terms of the agreement Molex is promoting the product on a global basis via its network of distribution and installation partners.
