Digital-Logic's Microspace-PC41 (MPC41), a personal computer without cooling fan for industrial applications, is based on the smartModule855 Intel Pentium M processor.
It is equipped with a 1 MB L2 cache, 1,6 GHz Pentium M processor, and an 'Extreme Graphic' video controller that is integrated in the Intel-855GME chipset. This supports the DirectX 9 compatibility with a video memory of up to 64 MB. The video controller has two different video outputs to control two different monitors (DVI and CRT).
Further technical features of the MPC41 are a DVI output, a SuperVideo input, up to three LAN 100/10-Base-T ports, a MPEG2 frame grabber, five high speed USB-Ports and a MiniPCI extension slot to plug in ISDN-, LAN-, StarFabric- or other PCI extensions. The main memory may be expanded to 512 MB. Further standard interfaces are a COM interface, two IEEE-1394 (firewire)-interfaces, a DVI input, a VGA-CRT connection, three stereo sound outputs (six channels), one stereo input and a SPDif digital sound output with six channels. Additionally supported functions are remote ON/OFF and an optional internal WLAN with an antenna on the back of the device.
Hard disk storage is 80 GB and a DVD/CD drive is used. The MPC41 is supplied by a voltage of 10 V to 30 V and is suited for use in battery supply systems.
