64-channel isolated digital output card

2 June 2004 Computer/Embedded Technology Transport (Industry) Logistics (Industry)

The PCI-1752 card, available from ProMicro, offers 64 isolated digital output channels with isolation protection up to 2500 V d.c. making it ideal for industrial applications where high voltage protection is required. All output channels keep their last values after a hot system reset and its 'channel-freeze' function keeps the current output status unchanged for each channel during operation.

A built-in DIP switch helps define each card's ID when multiple cards have been installed on the same PC chassis making identification and accessibility easy during hardware configuration and software programming. When its 'channel-freeze' function is enabled, the last status of each digital output channel will be safely kept for emergency use. This feature can be enabled either in dry contact or wet contact mode and selected by the onboard jumper.

The PCI-1752 has a wide output voltage range from 5 to 40 V d.c. making it suitable for most industrial applications with a 12/24 V d.c. output voltage.
