The RCM3360/3370 RabbitCore microprocessor core modules present a new form of embedded flexibility with removable xD-Picture Cards. Supporting on-board 16 MB NAND Flash as well as memory cards of up to 128 MB, this RabbitCore is highly suited for large data applications requiring low-power operation.
The focus of the RCM33xx series says the manufacturer, Rabbit Semiconductor, is to provide a powerful solution for remote data logging as well as network-enabling security and access systems. With the serial flash (RCM3300/RCM3310), NAND Flash (RCM3360), and xD removable memory card connector (RCM3360/RCM3370) - the RCM33xx caters to various memory devices ideal for higher memory datalogging, while providing a reliable Ethernet/serial connection to a Rabbit-controlled device.
With the additional software capabilities of add-on modules such as SSL for HTTPS security, FAT File system for reliable storage system, RabbitWeb for rapid Web development, and remote system download (RCM3300/RCM3310 only), the RCM33xx series offers an ideal combination of a hardware and software solution for remote embedded datalogging and control.
The RCM3300/3310 and RCM3360/3370 all come fully loaded: Rabbit 3000 @ 44 MHz clock, 10/100Base-T Ethernet connectivity, 512K Flash, 512K program execution SRAM, 512K data SRAM and up to 50 digital I/O shared with up to six serial ports operating at 3,3 V (with 5 V-tolerant I/O).
