CommScope's wireless broadband communication cable (WBC) is a low loss highly flexible 50 Ω braided cable, designed for maximum flexibility in demanding sites where curves, bends and twists require a highly flexible braided cable and superior performance. The WBC is specifically suited for land mobile radio (LMR), local multipoint distribution system (LMDS), multichannel multipoint distribution service (MMDS), wireless local loop (WILL), personal communication system (PCS), mobile, in-building and fixed wireless networks. WBC braided coax offers electrical performance comparable to corrugated copper products but with significantly higher flexibility, simplified connectorisation and lower cost. It uses closed micro-cell foam dielectric and braided technology to achieve low loss characteristics.
