The PWS-1419/TP nine-slot, 352,5 mm TFT LCD portable workstations from ProMicro have aluminium enclosures to withstand the demanding environments. The workstations are moisture resistant, dustproof, shockproof and are resistant to changes in temperature. Built-in sound and standard PC I/O ports are provided. Compactly designed, the PWS-1419/TP are suited for field operations and are easily fitted into a vehicle. Their rugged design and expandability meet MIL-STD-810E military standards and industrial requirements.
The workstations feature a full size mechanical key switch keyboard with touch pad and built-in amplified stereo speakers. Their LCD displays have a maximum 1028 x 768 resolution and a backlight lifetime of 25 000 h.
A lighter version, the PWS-1409T/TP, is ideal for rugged field and mobile applications. It is built on an aluminium chassis, surrounded by an ABS plastic shell and its LCD is made from impact-resistant protective glass. The PWS-1409T/TP is a cost-effective solution for applications such as portable servers, network/communications testing, field data acquisition, remote field service and factory monitoring automation.
