Piher's CI-10 is a 10 mm incremental encoder suited for all kinds of applications that require a miniature rotary control for direct connection to digital circuitry such as: Hi-Fi, CD, Mini Disc, MP3 players, personal computer input devices, AV and communication equipment, and relay timers, etc.
Featuring endless rotation, output is 2 bit in quadrature code with 24 pulses per rev and 24 detents per rev. In ultra-compact design it delivers an extended mechanical life of 100 000 cycles. Other specifications are: -5 to +45°C operating temperature range; 1 mA DC max current per contact; 100 mΩ initial contact resistance.
