Advantech has released two wiring boards: the PCLD-8751 has 48 isolated digital input channels, while PCLD-8761 has 24 relay channels and 24 isolated digital input channels. Both terminal boards link directly to high-density TTL digital input/output cards that are compatible with Advantech's PCI-1751, PCI-1753 and PCI-1753E. These wiring boards are well suited for compact applications that need high reliability and high voltages.
The input channels are isolated to ensure reliable operation, and each has a DIP switch that one can set to change between wet and dry contact. Extra effort has also been spent on unique detachable wiring connectors. These connectors are easily disconnected for easier configuration, and accept 24 AWG wires for up to 30 V d.c. at 1 A or 120 V a.c. at 0,5 A.
PCLD-8751 and PCLD-8761 are designed for the following specific features: DI - wide voltage input range; DC+5 V to 30 V; 3000 V high isolation voltage; LED indicator for each channel; high isolation relay - 1500 V; high operation endurance (over 107).
Both boards are attractive for on/off applications as they provide freedom to combine inputs, outputs and relays.
