Amphenol offers solutions for FlexPrint applications. Connectors are available from 0,5 to 1,25 mm pitches while flexible flat cable can be made to any design. FPC - FlatPrint connectors provide a one-piece solution for applications where PCB real estate is at a premium. These small-form-factor connectors feature ZIF (zero insertion force) or LIF (low insertion force) to eliminate the stressing of PCBs and allows for easy insertion of the FFC.
Available from three to 50 positions, side or top entry, through board or SMT, they can handle currents of up to 1 A at 125 V r.m.s.
FFC - flexible flat cable can be manufactured to customer requirements. The standard straight point-to-point solutions are the most economical, but Amphenol can also offer 'sculpted' mixed-technology solutions. These include the mounting of SMT components, connectors, contacts and screening. Additional services for this include CCT testing and impedance matching.
