Interconnection
Samtec has added the MMCX, MCX, and SMA connectors to its standard catalogued product line.
The Micro-Mini connectors (MMCX Series) are available as jacks and plugs and with a choice of through-hole, surface mount, and edge-mount terminations. A ganged variation of the through-hole option on these connectors is also offered for terminating two, four, six, or eight connectors to the board simultaneously. This option is particularly useful in board-stacking applications.
Mini connectors (MCX Series) are also available as jacks and plugs and with a choice of through-hole, surface mount, and edge-mount terminations. SMA jacks (SMA Series) area available with through-hole, edge-mount, and panel-mount terminations.
Cable plug terminations are also available for all these interfaces, and custom RF cable assemblies are available from Samtec.
