Compact PCB edge connector in 1,27 mm pitch

One of the challenges that the growing miniaturisation trend brings, is that of offering secure contact solutions under increasingly tight space conditions. For this reason, Lumberg expanded its established Micromodul product family to include the 302299 direct connector. This connector distinguishes itself in insulation displacement technology through its compact size, and is plugged and locked directly onto the edge of the PCB with a pitch of 1,27 mm.

Both single conductors and flat cables can be attached that handle currents up to 1,2 A. The wires can also be looped through for bus applications. The side walls of different widths and an optional keying rib prevent false insertion.

The compact Micromodul connector is ideal for many applications in tight space conditions, for example as in the automotive industry.
