Schurter has extended its filtered power entry modules with single-phase block filters. With this extension it supports customer requirements for power supplies from 0,5 A up to 50 A at 250 V and provides solutions for static and portable appliances.
Schurter has given attention to the following aspects: power density, quality, reliability, efficiency, handling, thermal behaviour and EMC. The block filters excel in eliminating equipment and mains-borne electro-magnetic interference or noise that can cause unstable operation of electronic equipment. The rectangular shaped filters are designed for PCB or chassis mounting, both metal and plastic cases are available with PCB, quick- and screw-terminals.
All types are ENEC, UL and CSA approved up to 250 V a.c. and currents up to 50 A, meeting the application requirements according to IEC/EN 60950. Low leakage versions for medical applications are available for all types in order to meet IEC 606001-1.
These block filters are well-suited for manufacturer of home, office, medical and industrial appliances and equipment in the field of power supplies, frequency and power converters, UPS-systems, stepper-motor drives and inverters.
