Murata's sealed surface-mount type PVG3 Series trimmers feature a sealed construction that protects the interior from dust and liquid, helping achieve stable performance. Typical applications for the 3 mm PV G3 series include small sensors, optical transceiver modules, copiers, printers, compact power supplies, wireless radio modules etc.

Key features are: heat resistance enables high temperature peak re-flow soldering; J-hook, Gull wing terminal shapes, rear and through-hole terminal shapes; driver plate with cross-slot is suitable for automatic adjustment; rotor has large diameter and deep groove to improve driver insertion; 3 mm and 4 mm land pattern can be used without change (gull wing is suitable for 4 mm size land pattern); complies with RoHS directive by new Cd-free cermet resistive material, Pb-free terminals with tin plating.
