The screw terminals from Phoenix Contact's Combicon product range are designed as PCB terminals and as codeable plugs. The plugs can be attached to the male headers vertically as well as horizontally. This saves the user logistics and storage costs, since the same product is used for different applications. At the same time cable cross-sections from 0,2-4 mm² and pitch measurements of 3,5 mm, 5,0 mm, and 7,5 mm are covered.
Various models are available for spring clamp terminals. The easy-to-operate FK-MPT terminal is suited for rigid wires up to 0,5 mm², in 3,5 mm pitch as a PCB terminal, and as male-header plugs. A double connector enables the looping-through of wires. This terminal is thus particularly well-suited for telecoms technology. The PTSA family of PCB terminals is colour-codeable, helping avoid faulty wiring. With their small pitch measurements from 2,5 mm to 3,5 mm and angled spring cage connection, they are used for lighting devices with a 1,5 mm² clamping area.
