Industrial Capacitors has released to market the SEG series metallised polypropylene film capacitors, which offer a very high volumetric efficiency along with very low losses and high current handling capacity.
The SEG range of capacitors has been designed to offer electronic circuit designers of DC filtering applications an alternative to electrolytic capacitors.
The 100 μF unit rated at 1100 V d.c. has a dissipation factor of less than 0,001 at 1 kHz and is contained in a package of 64 mm high by 85 mm in diameter, excluding terminals.
