The Raisonance STR71x-SK Starter-kit for STR7 (ST ARM7) applications provides realtime in-circuit debugging and programming capabilities, with all the features needed to allow developers to create, build, and debug ST's MCU-based systems.
It includes: one REva mother board, two REva daughter boards, one Rlink-attached to the motherboard, one Raisonance software CD including RKit-STR7 with RIDE. The REva board is an innovative modular evaluation platform that consists of a generic motherboard with interchangeable daughter boards supporting several target STR7 microcontrollers.
The kit includes two daughter boards, with STR711F and STR712F microcontrollers.
RLink is a USB-to-JTAG interface device designed by Raisonance. It allows programming and debugging of various microcontrollers, including all the STR7 microcontrollers supported by RKit-STR7. RLink's USB connection is used to power the REva, eliminating the need for a power supply. With the STR7 microcontrollers, RLink uses the JTAG protocol for debugging and programming through the standard 20-point connector defined by ARM.
The software toolchain RKit-STR7 includes GNU C Compiler, GNU Assembler, GNU Linker, Simulator/Debugger, all integrated into RIDE for the best ease of use.
